You two are the best live show I’ve ever seen(saw a show in San Juan Capstrano about 9 years ago), and I’ve seen just about everybody(including Hendrix in ’68).

Come back to California one day, please!

G,day, just wanted to say that I have been a huge fan of you folk ever since I first saw you on songs of the UNCIVIL WAR .I think that as a model for all families you are totally amazing .I am just sorry that I dont seem to be able to access any of your music here in Australia. This is frobably not the place to say so however I must,Ever since I first watched Rufus singing Hard Times with you all and watching the sincerity in his eyes Ihave loved him and would have given anything for the opportunity to tell him so I was not even aware until jusst recently that like me he is also gay I hope that he never faces the same problems in his life that Ihav to everyday .Love and Good Luck toYou All Jeff

I’m watching the Pete Seeger 90th Birthday concert. I was so surprised when Emmylou Harris sang and I realized that Kate and Anna were on stage as well! Great music. I’ve been a fan for many years. Keep singing!

I was most distressed to hear about Kate’s cancer [I’ve been living under a rock]; however, I beat it about 24 years ago and I’m confident that she will, too. Best of luck, for sometimes that is what is required.
BTW please come to Toronto. I’d love to chase you around the world, but…

Remember with great fondness Spa days at ye olde swimming hole, Wildflowers, Patti Nunn-Pin Cushion Mama, Bob White, Luke, Bromberg-shuffleboard at the Turf-out of this world ham, liverwurst, roast beef sandwiches, the health food store-homemade wheat bread, ballerinas, Caroline St, Cody’s Leather-still wearing that belt occasionally, Hattie’s Chicken Shack, Annandale and of course Lena’s. Remember you, Kate, especially your smile and your spirit.

PS. My Mom beat cancer 2 yrs ago and will celebrate her 89th in Oct. You can do it too.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Kate’s death. I loved her and her music so much from the early struggles of Kate and Roma in New York City, to Kate and Loudon in Saratoga, Kate pregnant with Rufus, and jamming together at Lena’s and then of course to wide recognition of the Kate and Anna team. I’ll never stop singing those songs! Kate will always be a part of me! Patti
