Gone 6 years but to me it still feels like 1970 when you graduated from McGill and made Gaby so proud. I snapped you with the old Kodak 1-A bellows camera I’d bought in a junk store. Sorry I didn’t get all of the mitre board in the frame. Love you always.

Thank you so very much for your beautiful and inspiring music, I will always remember all the radio time, when living in boston after a serious injury, given to Kate and Anna and how much I loved every tune. Just recently rediscovered the sisters first release at a record shop, I was thrilled. As a student of music I can’t wait to cover some of your tunes.

It’s been a nostalgic and emotional evening for me here, in Sydney, Australia.
I first discovered the music of Kate and Anna way out in Western Australia… in the desert, on tour, thousands of miles from home. I fell in love with it. I was 25. It was 1977.
Tonight I have been out visiting – Youtube McGarrigle – out of nowhere, and once again, LOVING it for an expanded range of reasons…… the emotional precision, the focus, the delicacy of harmonies…. the truth, the belief….
