BAM – Kate’s Kids tonight Wed Jun 26 2013 – 7.30pm Opera House

Sorry about the delay getting this info up here. This should be a lovely show if the rehearsals are anything to go by. Special guests Emmylou Harris, Norah Jones and Mark Ronson join Martha and Rufus in a variety of songs, some by Kate, many from their own repertoires. Lily is also here singing with Rufus and Martha and me! Aunt Jane and I will attempt something of Kate’s, a first for us.

All proceeds go to the Kate McGarrigle Fund for Sarcoma Research.

    Regards to all involved for an evening to remember. We carry on, but richer for the love, crafted into song, that resonates undiminished as we go. Thank you Frank, Gaby, Kate, Anna, Jane, your devoted family and friends as you celebrate these gifts. Wish we were there. In the meantime, I will go check the mailbox for the arrival of my Sing Me the Songs CDs.

    Oops I fergot- The white trousers anna was wearing at repetition hier
    are reminiscent of.. well y’all got style. Not L’Équipieur style a la Kenyon but style and panache au bout and in the boots
