Sitting here enjoying the 1975 album; Complainte…, Heart Like A Wheel*), old darlings… The passing of Kate made me think of the recent Celtic Connections in Glasgow, in commemoration of Gerry Rafferty’s passing in Jan 2011. His brother Jim met with Maria Muldaur who sang Gerry’s Another World. Jim met her backstage, “…she was spreading the news about Gerry’s wonderful music to Her Good Friends The McGarrigles and had already done so to Her Good Friend Bonnie Raitt…”. I think that is a very good idea. Despite Baker Street, I believe his music is still a very well kept secret. Just saying…
