I am from Kalispell but take Front Porch with me where ever I go,on my laptop, from Kalispell to Thailand to Spokane, WA. I’m so grateful you are providing off the charts music for those of us who have Waited! a long time for quality tunes.

Hello all,
I’m very sad to hear of Kate’s passing. I bought Pronto Monto while in High School only for the song NaCl. I’m now 50 and have gone back to college and taking Biology. I have a cassette of NaCl but I can’t find the LP to make a digital version. I found a later version on the internet but it pales in comparison to the Pronto Monto version. How can I find the old version, I want to bring it to all the youngsters in my class!

I love that story and the station. How appropriate that they would choose to include your music. As you suggest, you and Kate fit the bill. What’s more, you’re Canadian. In the summer of 1983, I worked at the Prince of Wales Hotel in Waterton, Alberta – just minutes away from the American border, and not that far from Kalispell. The town was not an infrequent stop for summer employees of our hotel. The permanent residents of the border towns were also often passing though Kalispell.
What an excellent site you’ve created here!
