Unfortunately, my cat refuses to swim but I’ve always liked the song. Years ago, when Kate and Anna played the Old Vienna Coffeehouse in Mass., I did a pre-concert telephone interview with them, then took my wife and daughter to the concert. Sara was about 14 then and it might have been her first concert. I remember it with great fondness.

Oh that was lovely. The swimming song and Allie worked well together!
I sang that happy song the christmas before last, whilst standing on a frozen lake in Ottawa, next to a sign that read “caution swimmers”. That was the same Christmas we had flown across the globe and saw Martha and Kate at the Bronson centre in Ottawa. I have just visited those memories again…..thank you.
